The UW-Whitewater Percussion Studio enjoys a long history of success and accomplishment.  Percussion students perform in virtually every ensemble in the music department as members of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, Warhawk Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Choirs, Theater Productions,  SONICT New Music Ensemble, and as soloists and chamber musicians on recitals.

The UW-Whitewater Percussion Studio is a vibrant and diverse place where percussion students can perfect their craft as performers, musicians, and future music educators.  The studio utilizes the "Total Percussion" instructional model, where students will learn technique on many percussion instruments to serve the needs of the contemporary percussion teacher and performer.  The mission of the UWW Percussion Studio is to produce outstanding performers regardless of major, as well as prepare interested students for further study in music at the graduate level.
